This is one of the comments which tripped me when i was doing a research on 'Metamorphic Anthropoidic Prototype Over You'.It shows that Indians are not the only ones who crib about the Saas-Bahu serials engulfing the lives of the common Indian.
Again they cancel my favorite show?, 7 January 2002
Author: blaackbird from California
This was one of an annoying number of shows I liked as a kid that were each run for a season and then promptly cancelled. I liked shows that varied from the norm, especially ones about eccentric geniuses. But I guess it was just too smart (or weird) to be popular. People prefer shows about inept housewives, bigots, idiots stranded on islands, barrooms, rotten families, and just about anybody who makes everyone else look smarter by comparison.

One of the most beautiful and uncomplicated song. For the Heart, From the Heart.
Song: What a Wonderful World
Artist: Louis Armstrong Lyrics
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Oh yeah!

Current Music: ERIC CLAPTON---NOBODY KNOWS WHEN YOU ARE DOWN AND OUT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IN MY MIND, COLORS FLOW,
FEELING NUMB, FROM THE BLOW,
HEART IS COLD, MIND IS SHUT,
FEELING HIGH, FEELING LOW.
BEEN IN LOVE AND OUT OF IT,
HERE AM I OUT OF WIT,
STANDING TALL, FACED THEM ALL
SO TIRED NOW, HAVE TO SIT.
TAKE SOME REST LYING DOWN,
SOMETIMES SMILE SOMETIMES FROWN
SEEN THEM ALL, ALL THOSE FOOLS,
NOW HERE I AM, THE KING, GIVEN THE CROWN.
GOD KNOWS WHY, I CAN'T REST,
GOD KNOWS I DID MY BEST,
SOMETHING SOMEWHERE EVERYTHINGS WRONG,
TIRED ATLAST, ALL THE TIME, GIVING ALL THOSE TESTS................
...DHEIRU...

Once upon a time,in time not so long ago, line186 and i were travelling in an auto. Suddenly a car and a bicycle came in front of him from the opposite direction and we were caught right in between. He avoided the car but the cycle just touched the bicycle. The auto driver then gives us gyaan that ' if there was a chance of choosing which of the two to collide with, he would have choosen the bicycle. Then he throws some light on our lost souls. He said that if he collided with the car there would be a fight and he would get trashed.... But if he collided with the bicycle, the bicycle would fly and he would escape safe and sound... how's it???? eh....

Hoorah for BrainDrain. I guess the politicians are foreign sleeping agents who were activated when India Inc. was doing good. Peace process going on the super express highway, the Sensex aiming for the sky and etc etc....
There should be some sort of agency that should be monitoring these things. These people are making the country weaker from inside. Can they be called 'Terrosists' as they are eroding the country and making it sick by feeding it slow poison, or are they thinking that 'let it be , the climax won't happen in my time so it doesn't matter'....
Who are we supposed to look upto now??????????

vam186's 'Valentine Fiasco' was well written . Most of the small wrongs are not being taken notice of as no one has time ( a reason given by the majority). These small wrongs percolate to become major disaster when someone lights a fuse.
India is a democratic country and for one to say that one cannot do this or that is an insult to the democratic nature of the constitution.
The constitution says that you can do anything as long as you are not causing harm or distress to others.
Who are these people who feel that they could dictate other peoples lives... What is their contribution to the society. destruction, murder, anarchy. Even the Nazis started as a small unit but ended up with more than half the world.
I just pasted the reply i sent to vam186 . i just thought i might add something...
YOU FORGOT TO MENTION MOST OF THE BUSINESS SCHOOLS WENT TO OTHER PLACES BECAUSE NO KICKBACKS AND QUOTAS WERE NOT GIVEN. PEOPLE IN MINORITY , I'M TALKING ABOUT RELIGIONS, PEOPLE LIVING BELOW THE POVERTY LINE, PEOPLE WITHOUT JOBS OR STRUGGLING FOR JOBS AND MANY MORE WHO CANNOT LIVE THEIR LIVES AS THE WOULD WISH TO, SURELY FEEL INSECURE OR FRUSTRATED AT THEIR INABILITY.
THE POLITICAL PARTIES OR THEIR AGENTS JUST ACT LIKE CATALYSTS OR ACT LIKE CROSS-HAIRS TO THEIR OWN TARGETS. THE POOR (SPEAKING PSYCHOLOGICALLY,NOT ECONOMICALLY) GO AT WHATEVER THEY ARE SHOWN AND IN THE END THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE BLAMED AND THE LEADERS WHO INSTIGATED THEM SAY THAT THEY ARE SORRY , THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND THEY HOPE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO DID THIS ARE PUNISHED. SICK....
BUT IT IS THE PEOPLE WHO EASILY FORGET AND ARE IN BACK IN SQUARE ONE...
DO YOU THINK THEY NEED TO BE EDUCATED??????????????

Current Music: Joe Satriani - Surfing With the Alien
Take A look out of the window
And you will see a world so known and so unconnected
So many people
What are they thinking, how’s their life going
Some happy , some sad
Some weary eyes lost in thought
Some jubilant and spreading the joy around
Feel so much
Wish so much
To get connected to Their Heads
Their Thoughts,
Their Wisdom,
Their Happiness,
Their Sorrow…...

This is what I optimism. This is a quote by one of my favorite authors, Dr. Isaac Asimov (c. January 2, 1920 – April 6, 1992), "If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster."
